Winemaker Notes
One block of our vineyard has earned the name "Peacock Patch" because of the ostentatious birds that strut the rows. The soil in this block is gravely and not particularly fertile, resulting in slightly stressed vines which produce tenacious fruit with a great concentration of flavor. This wine was aged in oak for 20 months prior to bottling.
