Mello Cielo Vineyard Experience

The Mello Cielo Vineyard Experience offers you a comprehensive excursion around our vineyards and winery facilities. This is a unique opportunity for you and your friends to learn about the history, the art and the science behind our wines. Of course, you may taste current and future vintages of our wines during the tour.

The tours are private and by appointment only. They are generally available daily at 11:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. The complete experience is $25.00 per person. (Gem Society members pay just $15.00 per person, pricing for member and one guest).

Group size is limited to a minimum of 8 and a maximum of 14 people. We kindly ask for a 7 day advance notice on all reservation requests.

Tour Agenda - approximately 2 hours

You will meet your tour guide at our Tasting Room where you will board the Mello Cielo, our custom Ruby Hill tour bus, and begin your tour of our vineyards.

We will drive you along the vineyard roads where we will offer a brief narration of certain estate varietals and the wines that are produced from them.

You will have the opportunity to walk into the Peacock Patch, our Zinfandel vineyard, and learn about our 5 Star farming techniques while sipping our Sparkling wine. You may even find some surprises during your walk.

The bus will follow the vineyard farm roads to the Production Facility. Here we will give you an overview of the process of winemaking as you sample some of our new wines from the barrel.

You will continue on to the Water Tower where you may sample some of our current wine selections paired with meats and cheeses in a relaxing environment.

Finally, we will return you to the tasting room to sample our Port from a chocolate cup. This would be a great time to peruse our large selection of retail merchandise.
